Chairs Chat - Volunteering - August 2019

As a club, we are constantly looking at ways to promote and encourage giving back to the ELHC community. Without our volunteers, we would not be the cheap, fun and thriving club that we are! This post is to highlight to you our new Volunteering Policy for 2019-2020 season and an improved way for you to record the hours you put in.
Our aim is that every single member of the club volunteers 2 slots or roughly 3 hours in total this season.
*That’s it! Only 3 hours!*
There are a number of ways you can contribute, from the obvious umpiring and coaching slots, to the new ways we are supporting volunteer hours - like the small tasks board and helping with Youth admin!
All the details of how to sign up for training coaching, matchday coaching and umpiring, youth and small tasks are all on our Facebook page. If you have any questions, please contact our Fundraising and Volunteering Office Ewan Duffin. Also a thank you to Jon Butt for putting together our new trackers.
And speaking of which, as we are a competitive bunch, we will be tracking the contributions from each team and including leaderboards in the ELHC newsletter. Top teams at the end of the year will receive some prizes!
As always thank you to the current superstars of this club who work so tirelessly in the background and keep the wheels on the bus going round and round.
