JEFFERSON'S ROUNDUP
---------------------------------------------------------
L1s came back from 2-0 down to secure a point against Ashford.
Continued pressure in the second half brought goals from Chloe
Vaughan and the equaliser from Emily Menzies.

M1s got a lucky goal early when a cross deflected in off a
defender's stick. Despite the City of Peterborough getting one
back, continued pressure in the second half gave East two more to
finish 3-2 up.

L4s got a concession victory against Brentwood and L2s opposition
had already cried off earlier in the week giving them both a 5-0
win.

Beth Priestley scored four for the second week in a row getting
half the goals in L5s 8-0 romp.

M4s picked up a comfortable win over Colchester and M2s weren't
overly challenged by Maldon in their 3-0 win. However despite a
strong start, M3s were undone by Phoenix 2-0.

Max Turner was MoM as stand in goalie for M6s who despite a
number of yellows withstood opposition pressure to win 1-0 and
put themselves in strong position for promotion. Max was MoM
again in his regular M5s game but his left wing dominance was not
enough to get any points over promotion rival Bentwood.

Laura Elliott got the clinching goal and was named MoM for L6s
who's 2-0 victory sets them up for promotion contention. M8s,
however, settled for a draw.

Unsurprisingly, L3s continued their unbeaten-ness with a win and
went top of their league. Perhaps scoring more than the one goal
will ease the nerves next time.

And finally, Charlotte Burge got a goal as L7s applied their new
skills from training, defended staunchly and despite losing to
Upminster left with their heads held high.
